Aley comes from a single parent home, raised by her mother.  They were struggling, her mother working 2, sometimes 3 jobs to make ends meet. Therefore, left on her own, Aley raised herself. She grew up in the streets. In her heart Aley wished for a different life. She wanted to make something of herself and escape her toxic environment. Aley did achieve her goals and earned a college degree, but feelings of anger and abandonment still lingered inside her. She thought long and hard and decided that it was time for her to leave and find her own path in life. She needed to let go of her past and forge a future for herself. Leaving behind everything and everyone she knew, she bought a one-way ticket to a new life, determined to make it on her own.
