keito karusaidVicky "Vesper" Kelly is the one and only daughter of Hathian retiree Michael James Kelly, a.k.a. "Mick." Vicky's Ma dipped almost as soon as she was born, just like her Pa's. Mick's day-job was as nefarious as nefarious could get - contract killing for Winter Hill. Due to his need to move around a lot, Vicky's formative years were spent in the care of gangsters, and when her Pa finally came home, grounded as his health took a turn, she was imparted with all of the things he knew. Vicky grew up on stories of a bygone era in Hathian history, about flocks of Crows and self-proclaimed Rejects. Once her father had grown well enough to get back to work, she packed her things and made her way south. If it was a good enough place for her Pa, why not her as well? Vicky is nineteen and looks about as wise. Outside of her mean-streak and penchant for religious tableaus, she is nothing like her father. She's wears her shitty life choices all over her body and walks with far more confidence than her age should allow. She and her father share identical tattoos reading, "A Mother's Love." These tattoos are ironic, given both of their mothers abandoned them. Vicky is a Boston native, with an Australian-Irish background. Her dialect is idiosyncratic and her accent swings back and fourth between broad Australian and Southie. Vicky's connections give her the length of rope enough to deal small game. Her peddling is limited to prescription meds and soft uppers. She can get her hands on just about anything, and frequently doles out oxy, valium and dexies. She also receives a steady supply of eckies, usually cut with amphets, the so-called "party prescription." Vicky is nearly always holding. On the streets back home she was colloquially known as "Vesper," alluding to her preference for night-time spookin'. In Hathian, she's begun seeding her name as a go-to for the young professionals, hospitality burnouts and student-stressors. You can catch her on any street corner minding her own business. Using her street-name signals you're looking to buy. Word has it that Vesper also has a soft-spot for people too poor to afford their medications, and will go out of her way to get them a five-finger discount. |
