Okay. Obligatory Star Wars reference out of the way...

Bio:
Born and raised in St. Louis, Leia lived a pretty normal life. She went to elementary school at a private academy, pretended to be sophisticated on the Delmar Loop, and wasn't too much of a terror to her parents, Adam and Denise Tremmor, both workers for Boeing. Leia decided to switch to a public school, and graduated near the top of her class. She went to college at Washington University, and worked part time as an ED tech throughout the duration of her college life. She recieved a B.A. in biology and went on to med school (again at Wash U), having fallen in love with emergency medicine during her time working in the ED.

Unfortunately, that wasn't to last long. She was in a car accident on the interstate, smashing her left arm and severely injuring her back, leaving her in massive amounts of pain. Enter Oxycodone. She quickly became hooked to the narcotic pain medication, along with a new prescription for alprazolam. The mix of opiates and benzos would be the catalyst to her first arrest.

Unable to get her prescriptions refilled, she started to buy them on the street in order to get her fix. At one point she assaulted an undercover police officer who promised the drugs and didn't deliver, and she was quickly arrested. Rather than jailtime, she was put into rehab, it being her first offense. She did, however, have to leave med school. Leia then vowed to get clean, but that did not last long and in the process of trying to get money to get her fix, she was arrested for prostitution-- though she had never actually done it, just offered. ...Once again, to an undercover cop. Jail time was commuted to community service, and she entered another rehab facility, but soon relapsed.

She left St. Louis at that point, wandering wherever she could in order to get away from the temptation, but eventually returned after a few years, trying one more rehab facility in the southern portion of Missouri, and that actually stuck. She couldn't stay though, as she still had too many 'friends' who offered to get her what she wanted, so she set off again, this time finding herself in Hathian...

Personality:
Far from shy, Leia enjoys being around people. She has a quiet voice, and will often seem to be a wallflower, but she listens to what's going on around her. She loves to hum and sing, and is generally a very upbeat person, despite the issues in her past. ..Well, upbeat until she gets around a hospital, and then she goes somewhat emo, given that she really, really misses the medical field.

She doesn't trust people easily, though she has no problems randomly hanging out with whoever is friendly. She just won't spill her life story to most anyone, and so far, only one person in Hathian even knows she has a past criminal record. Easily amused, and somewhat flighty at times, she can often be found staring into space, just randomly thinking.
