As leader of the HPD, I have been noticing that many officers(myself included) have little to no off duty life whatsoever. Basically most of us log on and off in the uniform which is fine in all but I wanted to do more with the officers. So I'm going to start putting together events to help officers gain some sort of uniform-less off duty social life. One of these events I had in mind was a BBQ hosted by the HPD. And I also wanted to get the FDH and HGH involved to improve the relations between the municipal groups. I was thinking of doing this sometime in the end of June before I go on vacation in July.
