Hemera is a sweet girl; affectionate, curious and incredibly naive about the world and how it works. She stumbled into Hathian in a confused fog which has been with her since, her mind struggling to wrap around the complexities of the city and its inhabitants. She seems to want to please those around her, a genuine urge for approval and understanding, but there is a very large problem.
Hemera is very thoroughly convinced that she is a goddess. More accurately, the offspring of one - Nyx, the ancient goddess of night. She named herself after Hemera, the ancient deity's offspring, and tries to convince anyone willing to listen to her of her connection to the goddess. In true cult leader fashion, she's determined to gather believers, people she can relate to on a level she's able to understand. These grandiose delusions are deeply ingrained, her sweet, naive exterior cloudy with beliefs of superiority.
