Hayes Yossarian is a 55 year old former college professor with a preference for whiskey, heroin, and students. His marriage over, and his once promising careers in tatters, he arrives in town looking for a place to land. As he steps off the bus, he thinks about the chorus of his favorite Drive By Truckers song.
