You come to the door. The address given to you by a close personal friend. Not much information is given to you. Only the amount that is necessary for you to have. An address , a password and the knowledge that some poker game is happening at this address is all you know. It is all you need to know. As you are about to knock, your eyes scan both ways. You check to make sure that you haven’t been followed. If you were followed, the people who run the game will not be too pleased with you, not at all. Your fist comes down hard on the shitty wooden door. It looks like it may break if you pound a little bit harder. After the pounding ceases, you wait a few seconds before the door is opened a crack. A deep voice calls out to asking for your password. It is given. The door slowly opens as the man looks for police. Then when he sees none you are goaded into the house quickly. The interior of the house is much different than the exterior. Looks pretty nice. It seems fresh not like a sewer like most of the city. Cigar smoke and the clamor of talking fills the room. Your ears hear voices that constrast greatly. A cocky man saying what he thinks another has. An intense person cussing under his breath at all the talking. Two men try to engage in polite conversation about business. A few others talk about the rack on one of Ace’s new girls, damn are those things a beauty. The dealer talks to those players who are still playing asking them to place their bets, telling them who has the blind and trying to keep some order at least. The host approaches you and in the same cryptic manner that you were told about the game, he asks you a question. “How many boxes of Canoli do you want?” Your hand shows the number 5. You are given chips that amount to about $500 dollars worth in cash. Hopefully, you man that money into something more. There are a lot of chips on the table to be had. As he approach the table, you admire these chips and imagine all the shit you could buy with them. A chair and a place are made for you at the table. You smile as you sit down. The cocky card player looks at you and shakes his head. “Hey it looks like shitface over here thinks he is going to get lucky, ahhhh fuck you!” A middle finger is raised. You truly have reached the underbelly of Hathian society. And let the games begin.

Well, if you read the preview, you can tell that I am talking about a poker game in Hathian. It would be much like a poker night with your friends but more money is exchanged and it’s another chance for gang neautrality. The games would be gang neautral and it would be texas hold em poker. Now that is about all I got. I need ideas, suggestions, people willing to help. I got a few suggestions but I want to know what the community thinks.
Suggestions from me:

1. Paulie Gambino would put on the game, meaning it would have a semi affliation to the Wolves. This would only mean that Wolves would be helping with security and they wouldn’t advertise themselves as Wolves obviously. Others can help out but because I am running it and illegal gambling is a gang thing, we would run it essentiallly. Also Wolve would collect gambling debts incurred.
2. Degenerate Gamblers- We could have players that gamble a lot with money they don’t have. When they don’t’ have the money to pay back when they lose, they are given a date when they have to pay it back by. If they don’t have it, they are beaten up and brutalized as a lessson. There would be interest involved and some unfair dealings as well.
3. Poker itself- I am unaware of a program to play poker on Sl. If anyone knows of one, or knows of someone who could make one please inform me. If there isn’t then we can just have me deal in real life and get multiple people to deal or have an online program that we play on. There would be Roleplay involved in playing cards.. soo I don’t expect many hands to get done and I expect it to take awhile.
4. Robberies and things of that nature. A lot of money is being exchanged. It is tempting for robberies to be done. They would have to be approved by me and done at a certain point. It won’t be an easy score but definitely one that can have you living large for awhile until people find you.
5. An escape. This can be an escape from the violentness of city life. It can be a way to pass time without killiing each other. Talk to others that you wouldn’t normally talk to. Get a lot of people involved.. serving drinks, providing entertainment, dealing cards, and anything of that sort. The more involved the merrier I say. I just need to know how is interested and what the y want to do. Damn, I will even let Ace hookers in as entertainment. It is strictly gang neautral… that is one point that will make it different, kind of like fight club but no more violence.
