Hathian Community Service Program

We have established the penalty of some crimes to include community service. Community service is the donated service or activity that is performed by someone or a group of people for the benefit of the public or its institutions to satisfy the penalty of their crimes.

This is how the Community Service Program will work:

1) The person will serve their mandatory jail time for the offense(s) committed
2) After the person completes their jail time, they will be given a community service form and sent to the organization of the department's choosing
3) The person will perform the proper service or activity for that organization until they satisfy their community service time. The schedule for the person to do their community service will be decided by the HPD and the organization leadership.
4) If the person fails to show for their scheduled community service or perfom the said community. The person will be taken back to jail charged with Contempt of Court and serve the penalty along with the offense.
5) When the person completes the community service, they are to report back to the HPD and hand in their Community Service Form. After that, the person will be free and able to go back to society.
