==Background Story==

===Before Hathian===
Born in New Orleans she shares her very strict parents with 2 younger sisters and one older brother. Growing up in a life of constant rules and little room for mistakes she longed for more then fairy tale dresses and tea parties that masked the true family secrets. She vowed, at a young age, to walk away from the family mansion and the dark secrets it held as soon as she could...

Her teen years opened more oppurtunities for her to hide out as her father became more distracted by the family business Hali would find herself staring right into the handsome dark skinned boy that would change her life forever. JAKE KUHN would steal her heart and her innocense. Getting pregnant at a young age her father would offer Jake a position in his company. He only wanted to keep his daughter and his new grandchild until his control. Jake growing restless pushing paper starts to dip into the bussiness on a criminal level. Hali soon found herself standing in a courtroom, her baby girl in her arms, her older brother in a coma at the hands of her husband, her beloved Jake behind bars and her parents staring at her as if to say "we told you so". That night Hali packed what she could, taking her child she left the comfort of home and headed to a whole new life.

Hali found the city life hard, renting a small apt and stocking the fridge took almost all of the money she had on her, taking a job as a dancer proved hard for her she soon turned to drugs to help her feel better aboutthe life she had chosen for her and her child. She struggled to provide determined not to go home or ask for help. Several years pasted and Hali found herself waking up in the arms of a stranger. A stranger she had met while working the night before...9 months later Hali gave birth to a healthy baby boy she named Josh, his father RIKI KEAHI knew nothing of his birth. Tears streamed down her face as she handed the newborn over to a nurse to be put up for adoption. Jake was due home from prison and hali would do her best to hide her one night stand from him, any way she could. Jake would return to Hathain and to their small apt, prison had changed him in the worst way. The man that once made her feel safe and comforted her now showed her anger and resentment. Often used as his punching bag Hali would sink deeper into a life of drugs to hide to the pain. Jake soon shipped off again for various reasons Hali would find herself back into the arms of Riki, giving birth to yet another son. Hali would keep him and raise him the best that she could. Once again her husband returned to find a child he didnt want and a his wife strung out on heroine. He would do what he needed to get things back to the way he wanted it. Sending his daughter MITZI KUHN off to private school and asking help for his wife's heroine problem he would take charge.
Shortly after being forced thru a detox at the hands of Jake and Lars Calhoun, Hali would divorce her abusive, controlling husband, walking away from the only man she had ever loved. She felt it safe to search for the young son she had given up bringing him home to her and his siblings. She also brought her daughter Mitzi home, she was slowly picking up the pieces of her life and putting them back together.

Hali now works as a socail worker, doing all she can for the kids in an effort to try and give the city a better future. Her parental rights with Jakes daughter, Mitzi, were always being tested, she faught an ongoing battle with him and always lost. Finding out that hali had started her heroin use again Riki kidnapped her from her home and kept her locked away for a month. Teaching her never to show tears and to always obey he offered her a new life with a new type of family...Hali would become a Wolve.
