Anonymoussaid[17:58] Gypsy Queller knocked on the door and looked down, adjusting her dress awkwardly. [18:01] Travis Morrison yelled from his perch on top of the tv, he couldnt be bother to get up. "its open!" he plucked the cigarette from his lips, ashing it casually, his eyes shifting to the door as he waited for it to open. "for fuck sake. im straving." he mumbled. [18:03] Gypsy Queller shoved the door open haphazardly and stumbled inside with a small snort of laughter. Damn heels. She shifted her glance over to Travis on the TV and grinned wide. "Well let's go then." she mumbled, her grin fading. He looked hot. She was almost to the point of fuck it. Funny how clothes made one want to just rip them off. [18:12] Travis Morrison's eyes scanned her frame slowly. "well dont you look all fancy. whats the occassion?" he asked perking a brow then quickly shifted down to his own clothes. "and here i thought i was doing good with a button down shirt." his eyes moving back to the ashtray where he pressed th cigarette out after a quit last drag. he pushed off the tv and slid to his feet. a small box which was pushed close to him while and out of view from the door while he was sitting was now in plain sight. he reached next to box grabbing his lighter and pack of cigarettes. he pushed them into his pocket and turned back to gypsy. "devils pocket? should i call a taxi?" [18:14] Gypsy Queller hadn't even noticed what he was fiddling with as she was doing the same with the hem of her dress. It felt too short to her. She wasn't used to dresses. She giggled a small laugh at his words, but didn't look up. "No. Black Bottom. You could call eh' taxi." she finally glanced up with a grin long after he'd shoved his belonging in his pocket. [18:19] Travis Morrison reached back into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone, turning as he scrolled through his contacts until he found the cab company. "i knew it was something like that." he mumbled to her as he listened to the ring. he turned moving into the living room as he spoke on the phone. [18:21] Gypsy Queller flashed him another grin as he pulled out his phone and moved into the living room to talk. She remained standing, considering it good practice. She hadn't worn heels in a good few months and it was never a bad thing to keep up with. She shifted her weight casually to the opposite hip and waited patiently for him. [18:28] Travis Morrison ended the call and turned back to her. "5 minutes." he said shoving the phone back in his pocket. he moved forward, placing his palms on the top of the tv and leaned, wondering just how long it would take her to figure out that the small box in the middle of nothing was meant for her. his eyes shifted down quickly, not obviously but a flick, in a last ditch effort for her to notice. [18:32] Gypsy Queller darted her gaze upward as he flipped his phone shut and said how long it would take. She grinned and nodded. "Okay." she mumbled. Mismatched hues followed him back to the television as he opproached it and her eyes naturally lowered as his did, to the small box. She felt her heart jump against her ribcage. Could that- no. No no. She bit down on her lower lip and slowly brought her gaze back up to meet his, even if he wasn't looking at her. "Wha'... is tha'...?" she asked hesitantly. She took three or four steps forward, but not too many. She didn't want to seem too eager if this wasn't what she was thinking it was, but trying her hardest to not think it was, incase it wasnt. [18:37] Travis Morrison slid further down, leaning his elbows on the tv set. one arm laying palm down, the other upright proping up his head. his fingers drummed lightly on his cheek as his eyes shifted up to her. "dunno." he replied softly, his eyes now reforcusing on the box centered in front of him. "been too afraid to open it. so i just let it live there." his lips curled into a smile. [18:40] Gypsy Queller felt her heart continue to drum in her chest heavily as she finally had the nerve to move closer. Always sarcastic. That was her Travis. She grinned back hesitantly, feeling a bit nervous, and not even sure why. She reached out slowly, her one hand moving to lay ontop of his resting on the television set. Her opposite reached out to cup around the box. She shifted her gaze back up to meet his. She wasn't going to assume anything. "...Is it mine?" she asked in a tiny voice. The expression of excitement danced behind those mismatched hues despite her attempts to hide it. [18:43] Travis Morrison lifted his shoulders in a soft shrug, limited by the position on how much they could actually be lifted. his eyes finally shifted back to her face. "if you want it." he replied. [18:46] Gypsy Queller sharply drew in a breath as her bottom lip was also, to be bitten. She didn't hesitate any longer as the hand cupped around the box finally lifted it off the television set. Her opposite hand lifted from the warmth of his hand to slowly pry the top open, unsure of what she'd find inside, still. [18:49] Travis Morrison watched as she opened the box slowly. his fingers ceased drumming on the side of his face. "..course keeping it means youll have to marry me." he said quietly. [18:53] Gypsy Queller's heart thudded right into her throat as her mismatched hues landed on the ring, the dim light from the room proved to be no obstacle for the diamonds to shine through it. She hadn't realized she'd stopped breathing- a deer in the headlights look across her features- until her body had finally forced her to breath in sharply. "Facksake, Travis!Yes! Yes, yes yes!" She began to laugh uncontrollably as she took the ring out of the box, letting it fall to the television as she fitted the ring onto her finger. She didn't hesitate to finally lean down, her arms wrapping around Travis' shoulders. She pressed her lips against his harshly. It wasn't harsh enough. She closed her eyes tightly and couldn't bring herself to pull away JUST yet. [19:02] Travis Morrison beamed up at her watching her expression and as she finally responded. he wanted to move from the position but was worried his knees would buckled the minute he actual stood. he was grateful when she greeted him with her lips instead of him having to move to her. his hand reached up to the back of her head pulling her in closer as they kissed. [19:05] Gypsy Queller held the kiss a little longer before not being able to help pulling away to release another laugh, then another kiss was given. She pulled away once more to look at the ring on her hand and she shook her head, smiling. Genuinely smiling. "Travis... it's perfect..." she sang, her voice quivering. She wasn't going to cry. She wasn't going to cry. [19:14] Travis Morrison nodded slowly now pushing himself up into a full stand on his own, the tv no longer supporting him. "good." he mumbled, his fingers reaching into his pocket for a much need cigarette. he placed the cigarette between his lips and flicked the lighter at the end. "taxi should be here." he managed to say after a deep drag. his eyes shifted down to her hand and then back to her face. [19:16] Gypsy Queller realized a cigarette was exactly what she was in need of now, as well. She reached down into his pack to grab one of his and light it, taking a deep breath. She walked around the television and leaned her rear against it to face him. "Wha's th' matte'?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Her thumb played with the rim of the ring on the inside of her left hand as she spoke. She couldn't take her eyes off of it. She darted them down to the ring once more, then back up to Travis once again, awaiting an answer. [19:23] Travis Morrison shook his head, turning towards her. "nothing." he smiled warmly at her. '..you know, nothing but the small heartattack i just had.' just didnt sound quite right. "i told you im starved." he balanced the cigarette between his lips ut continued to puff from it. his hand reached up and out to her arm giving it a gentle squeeze. "looks perfect on you." he mumbled through the cigarette offering a small nod to the ring. [19:27] Gypsy Queller grinned to herself at his words of affirmation as her gaze shifted down to the ring. "Aye... it does, doesn't it?" she mumbled to herself, a small giggle following as she looked the ring over. She finally let her hand fall to the side before stepping closer to Travis, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Taxi should be 'ere by now, yea'?" she said calmly into his neck as she pressed a kiss against it... Then finally the words blurted out from her in the same fashion. "...So when ye' thinkin'?" she asked, not bothering to look up at him. She pressed another small series of kisses into his neck. [19:32] Travis Morrison pulled back from her slightly, chuckling softly. "when what? the w-wedding?" he stumbled across the word so odd foreign to him, he was certain that day would never come. he reached up plucking the cigarette from his lips, leaning over to ash it in the nearby ashtray. he licked his lips suddenly dry "umm..whenever you want sweets." [19:34] Gypsy Queller simply nodded with a smug grin. "All'ight..." she said and leaned into his neck again. She took that as the planning process was now up to her and she would do it willingly. She remained in his hold until they would have left for dinner. |
