Hey all, I'm new here to CD so I thought I would just introduce myself!  I've played off and on in DE for the past couple years, but I've decided to restart down here in CD.  My character, Gabby, is highly educated with a background in Archaeology and Anthropology, and has since taken a job teaching at the nearby university, CU, to fund her initial purpose of coming to CD.  She is trying to find the remnants of a long lost tribal religion and culture that was following a long exodus, first into Cuba while running from the Aztecs, and then running again upon the arrival of the Spanish in Cuba.  Gabby believes they settled in the area around CD, and has begun her investigation into the old tribal presence there.  Given her fascination and growing belief in native, indigenous beliefs and spiritualism, she likely will end up involved with the local Voodoo shop before long.  Once I get more settled in, I will likely have her end up writing for the paper as well, though we will have to see in time.  Either way, I can hardly wait to see what fun stories I can get involved in with all of you, have a wonderful day!
