It's that time of year again, gang. Time to set the CD goals for '09!

1. Spread out over Hathian! Let's show some love to the back of the sim! There are some great places back there being ignored!

2. Keep your OOC drama/crappy comments/etc to yourself. Attitudes nees to be checked at the door. This year there is going to be a SERIOUS crack down on all OOC drama. If it flares up, you'll find yourself in a time out..if that doesn't work, out the door you go. No more ooc fighting on the rp floor, no more crappy comments in the group chats, no more random IM's trying to stir the drama. If you get mad at someone, work it out like an ADULT. If you get mad, tp out of the sim for awhile and cool off, whatever it takes to keep the drama down to a minimum. If you need, call a security officer to help sort out issues. It's what they are for.

3. RP with everyone! Sticking to cliques robs you of meeting new and interesting rp'ers. It also keeps your character from building! Try rp'ing with new people and don't dismiss new comers!

4. Cut down on the split personality/psycho/gas mask wearing/serial killers. Seriously guys, it's WAY over done, WAY too common, stale, and over played. RP gets boring when everyone does the exact same thing. Try some different crimes, be ORIGINAL. You don't need extremes to have a good role play...you need immersion! We need VARIETY in the characters. We are lacking so many other roles...pick one and try it out!

5. Immerse! Work on building your character. What is their background? Where did they come from? Lose yourself in the character and think like THEY'D think based on THEIR background. Go to work, talk to people, hang out at different places, do everyday things...you'd be SO surprised at the great rp that can come from simple things like going to Lou's bar for a drink or going to work a shift at your rp job.

7. Try melee fighting! You don't have to have a gun to be tough! Let's try putting the guns away for once and grab a knife, baseball bat, brass knuckles, etc.

8. Spread out to the other sims! There are some great rp places on the other sims that aren't getting used. Let's explore those and try to use them as well.

2008 was a good year for Crack Den, but 2009 can be even better. With your help, CD can keep on being the great place to rp that it has become. Rp'ers are the heart and soul of the place, they have built it with their stories and immersion, so let's keep up the good work!
