Gia is 25 years of age.

She is beautiful, wealthy, incredibly intelligent and suffers from a psychiatric disorder, Munchausen Syndrome.

Gia was born and raised in Florence, Italy. She attended the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. After receiving her nursing degree, she, then moved to London to study with and who would become her mentor, British physician, Harold Shipman.

After Shipman's conviction of murdering his patients in the year 2000, Gia moved to London and was employed with the London Clinic, Devonshire Place. Her employment with the London Clinic would prove successful in promotions and love. It is there where she met her beloved and husband, Brayden Benelli.

After the FBI and the Clinic's investigations of her time spent with Shipman, she and Brayden decided to move to Hathian. Surely, their lives and practices would not be interrupted there.

Gia would apply and be accepted for a nursing position at Hathian General.

Will she lead patients to health or will she usher patients to their grave?
