The HUD "strongly encourages" you to get in trouble with the police in order to build street cred, but imho, there aren't enough opportunities for getting into trouble unless you're already well into your journey of being a typical Hathian resident.

My character even confessed to stabbing a hooker - nothing.

My character is mad at the HPD because she was raped, reported it, provided pictures of the guy, told them where he can be found... and although she was told an APB was being put out on the guy, nothing has happened.

So my sweet and innocent character had thought to paint "useless" on the side of a police car. It's realistic IC and pushes OOC street cred forward.

But I apparently have to get permission, and that is unlikely to happen.

I realize this is me ranting, but other players have complained about the same thing. I am a very imaginative person, and it is not realistic for my character to randomly beat someone up or rob a store.

If getting in trouble with the police is a part of advancing street cred, it needs to be easier for people to rp getting in trouble with the police.
