Note to Proposer and founding members: There is limited space for gangs, so expect a delay in the approval process since we have to choose (if any of the current proposals are chosen) wisely. If another gang is approved for trial, please have the patience to wait to see if they pass their trial, for your chance may be next. BACKSTORY: How does one begin to detail the backstory of what is, in essence, the Russian Mafia? The word "Bratva" in Russian stands for "The Brotherhood". In Russia there is no real way to distinguish one gang from another aside from looking at the people running the gangs, however to even get close to knowing who runs what is impossible. Brava in CD will be ran by Vlad Pavlov (Riddick Republic) a seasoned veteran of the Russian prison system he spent over 10 years. The dirty, almost purposefully mismanaged ink markings along his skin are proof of his numerous times spent in jail. The many cops he killed, the many crimes he committed. When one thinks of the way Bratva is ran in CD, one could think of the movie Eastern Promises. The movie began to really scratch at the surface of the Russian underworld...the "ponat'ya" (the unwritten code of laws that the men in the mafia live by). In Crack den Vlad sets out to find distributes for his product. The finest cocaine to ever be sold in the city. He then moves on to bigger things, human trafficking, prostitution, and a nice Restaurant that he runs along with the rest of that which is the cover for his operation. Bratva are ruthless, they believe themselves to be at the top of the foodchain, and no one will stand in their way. They do not have a dress code, they have no identifying marks aside from those that have gotten their tattoos, the map of their criminal history permanently inked on their bodies.

UNIQUE: What better city is there for a Russian crime syndicate to appear in? The corruption, the dirt, the gangs roaming the streets with no co-ordination and pants that are too low to really even realistically walk in... The Bratva will show that it is possible to be scary, yet well dressed and well organized. We will bring new roleplay to the City where anything can happen. Challange the police at every corner, bribe, steal, and kill anyone that stands in our way of the ultimate goal which is to become the number one distributor of any and all illegal things in the city. They can walk around looking like any other gang member with hoodies and baggy pants, or they can walk around in a suit. The special thing is that they will do jobs that no one else would ever consider doing.

EXP:I have been in roleplay in SL for a very long. I ran a few successful groups in Gor (A different and much less interesting roleplay environment) and have a lot of experience as a leader.

IDEAS:I will bring the true Russian mob, the true mentality of what it is like when a group of Russian thugs extort beat those that don't accept their rule. OOCLY: I am russian, and I know a lot about how the Russian Mafia operates. I will be able to teach those that are in my group what it is to really truly behave like a Russian and those that want to correspond with us in any way would be welcome to do so. Friend or foe we'll welcome any roleplay.
