Nadir TaovsaidOkay, so each tool obviously has it's uses ... forums = these types of discussion / feedback / continuous banter now ... wiki! No need to register a new account! Oh, don't worry, I fixed it up so you need to be a member of the forum and use the same login credentials 🙂 The point of the wiki is to create a collaborative writing space to track the history of the Crack Den. I think to explain this, I'm just going to use examples of what kind of pages we can have: 2) Profiles on different gangs / organizations (CDPD, Hospital, Gangs, etc. ... just add any piece of history you think is relevant) 3) Guides on anything 4) Profiles on different RP locations in the Den So yeah, the wiki is going to replace the "roleplay" section of our website which is incomplete. The best part about the wiki is anyone can start a page, then anyone else can edit / add information to it. Information will fairly be static there so it isn't going to get as much writing as a forum or blog would probably get. However, it should serve a place where we can write CD history and have folks refer to it whenever to learn about things. It should serve a good spot for newbies too. I will be scrubbing through all the pages, making them all nice / neat / formatted so don't sweat it if you can't figure out the special commands for a wiki. Just try your best 🙂 ps. thanks kendra for suggesting this The wiki is still in "beta", simply meaning I need to get some base information up on it. I'm releasing it to the forum community first for feedback and suggestions on to what else to use the wiki for. If you'd like to help contribute, please let me know and I'll add you to the "wiki" group, necessary in order to log-in to the system. I'll open it up to the rest of the forum once we get a good amount of information plugged in there about the more basics of CD. Thanks. http://wiki.thecrackden.com |
