rachell gibbssaid***You'd see a flyer swirling about the streets amidst the trash, possibly landing to your feet as you step off a crumbling curb. The type is shoddy, as if it were made in haste with little regard to stylistic notions. An image of Tyler Durden's bloody mug grins back as you read...*** You're weak. Everything about you from the way you part your hair to your hundred dollar shoes screams how deep you've fallen into the commercial pablum fed to you by the tv screen you can't afford. Punch the clock. Don't look up. Never look up. But what if you did? What if for a moment you could be different? I can tell you how....are you ready? Downstairs at Lou's. Leave your weapons at the door. Saturday, June 6. 7pm. And by all means, don't be a little bitch. (( OOC - Lou's Fight Nights are here! To make it a place where everyone can rp, we have some simple rules to follow. Keep in mind, these rules are non-negotiable and must be followed to participate: - No weapons. Nothing passed by the guards, nothing picked up while downstairs. Nothing at all. Just fists, feet and whatever you can do with your own body. No exceptions. - No post fight retaliation on the street. What happens downstairs, stays downstairs. Rookies can fight a Sergeant. Devouring can fight an Immortal. Gangs can fight their own members. Anything goes, everything stays. - To allow for time constraints, it is highly suggested you work out who the overall winner of the fight will be pre-fight. If you'd like the judge to announce, just make them aware. - Each fighter will be given a two post warning to wrap up the fight. This means each fighter will have two posts then the fight will be called. If you've already pre-determined a winner, the judge will announce the victor at the end. If you've not pre-determined, the judge will make the choice based on the roleplay. Most/worst hits taken will will the match. - No ninjas. If you are unwilling to take a hit, this is not the rp for you. Fight Nights are about fun rp, not who wins. If you are seen dodging every hit, you will be declared the loser and not invited to future events. - If you have any questions or concerns, please bring them to the attention of the judge before signing up to fight. As the fights can draw a sizable crowd, confusion can be a real time drainer. Before the event, please feel free to contact Sadie Vond (Sadesh Helendale) and she'd be happy to talk. - All fighters must sign up in pairs with the judge at least 30 minutes before the first fight. Fights are taken on a first come, first served basis. As your fight approaches you and your partner will be contacted via IM roughly 30 minutes before your fight. If you do not respond within 10 minutes, your slot will go to the next in line, and you will be tacked onto the back of the list. - Try to keep all posts within a 10 to 15 minute post time limit. Remember, there are other people who would like to fight, let's try to be fair to everyone. |
