rabid-bedlamsaidCorrection Services to official status Postby Rabid Bedlam on Wed Feb 16, 2011 2:43 pm What I would like to propose is an official CD group Corrections Services. Within this group there would be Parole, Probation, and community work. Would like to see this group be part of the municipal system and parts of it would have to be written into the penal code. That way if there were breaches of parole felons would be sent back to 'prison' and if there were violations of probation they would be put in front of a npc 'judge' for further sanctions. Being part of this group would have to be completely voluntarily for both workers and those choosing to be on Parole, probation, or serve a work sentence. DELIVERY MODEL. The way I envision this group working and the way i would think it would have to be run is that like the police, hospital, clerks etc that yes sometimes there would have to be NPC and note card communication. Things like standard check ins and urinalysis would be NPC's only if your character missed checks or failed urinalysis would there be a notecard sent to head of Parole services who would delegate PO's to deal with it. PO's would have case loads and do random spot checks and appointments. This group is being designed as a backdrop for character development and good scenes. Therefore, it is for motivated self starter roleplayers. It is not a babysitting service for those who are "Bored" OOC decisions about consequences etc would be made through respectfull dialog. Other groups such as HPD would be encouraged to work with us and support in endeavors. Right now we have run this group as a private roleplay but it has garnished alot of supports. I think if it was an official group we would draw more PO's which could expand the roleplay. So far a few PO's have also worked for the HPD and that is working quite well. Looking for suggestions, support and feedback on this idea. Thank you . |
