I've been taken a couple of times to HGH by the paramedics, only to find that there's no doctor on. Each time, the rp was done by the fdh member (and I thank all of you for that:) ) But since the fdh doesn't have write access to the charts, I often have to log off, wait for a busier time, then log back on and search in the OOC group for a doctor, or IM one who I've rp'ed with before. I think giving write access to the fdh would have several advantages.

After a big gang fight, which is getting increasingly common with gang tensions on sim rising like they are, often many patients will need treatment at the same time, but only the worst hurt will actually go. And who goes is often decided in IM's. ((You get the hospital rp since you're less likely to recover on your own. By the time they're done saving your life, I'll patch myself up. Odds are the doctor won't be on long after.)) If fdh could write the charts, this would both decrease the workload on the medical staff, and possibly generate more hospital rp.

Also, I've noticed a trend where these bigger fights tend to end at a time when the sim is slowest. When you factor in the number of people in the gangs, the hpd and fdh responders, and the people who OOCly wander up to watch, I've seen times when more than half of the people currently logged on are at the fight. This creates a lull in activity elsewhere in the sim. In other words, the emergency responders who get involved will have time. Even if some individual violence breaks out, it would be responded to by maybe two cops, and one paramedic, leaving the rest of the team that has shown up for the larger fight free, and maybe looking for something to do.

I've had some awesome scenes lately, and i just think this would be a great way to end them without loose ends.
