Hello!

Honey and I currently have two semi-NPC children. Our semi-NPC concept lets multiple players whom we approve to play the characters whenever they choose. The hope being that until we identify a full-time player to hold that character as their primary, the other players will boost RP time.

Although we have a basic personality 'framework' to give prospective players a loose idea of what we'd like to see, the overall personality and actual RP minutiae is down to the individual player.

If you are interested in being added to our player list, perhaps with the intent of becoming a full time primary for that character, let me or Honey know! Below is a basic outline for each child.

Zach was born in the north of England while his parents were married. Ethan was at med-school nearby and his mother, Sarah, was unemployed and struggling to cope with alcoholism.

Unfortunately Ethan had to choose between his wife and his career and he picked to continue with med-school. Due to a lack of support from Ethan, Sarah slipped deeper into her addiction and soon they both decided to divorce, with Ethan having voluntary full custody.

A few years later, Sarah was involved in a car accident that took her life. It hit all of them hard, but Zach bounced back thanks to his youth. They all decided to move back to Hathian and get back to their roots.

Recent events have brought Honey into the family life now that she's living with Ethan at the family residence. Zach being the younger child adapted quite well and gets along with Honey. Sophie was initially resistant but with time came to accept Honey in her life

Zachary has the typically 6 year old personality. He has an innocence that's slowly becoming tempered by reality and a deep love of skateboarding and extreme sports, preferring the land over Ethan's preferred watersports, even though he can surf at a basic level. He can kick his dad's ass at skating, though.

He is adventurous and outgoing, all scuffed knees and epic missions into the wilderness of the park, out looking for bugs and the like. He's intelligent, but in different ways to his sister's book smarts. He is more perceptive than the average six year old.

His relationship with Sophie is strong. They are very close, but he'll never admit it. He enjoys tormenting his older sister as any younger brother would, but if she's ever needing backup, he's there with a courage older than his years.

Sophie was born to her biological parents in Hathian, Louisiana. Her father was a deadbeat layabout who got her mother knocked up after a one-night stand. Though his erratic and violent personality did pass over some elements through genetics to his daughter, Sophie only displays aberrant behaviour very, very, very rarely, when in times of deep emotional distress. So far it's something the family have yet to witness.

Sophie's mother was a very loving, caring person, a recovering alcoholic who was turning her life around. Passionate and creative, these are the traits that Sophie displays most, being nurtured through Ethan's fatherhood. Sophie's biological dad left her very soon after birth and, as far as anyone is aware, got himself killed in some drug related shoot-out. It's never been proven, however.

So from newborn onwards, Ethan has been provider and protector, all around father figure for Sophie. When she was five years old, Sarah applied for her daughter to be registered as legally adopted by Ethan as her father and the paperwork was approved.

When Sophie was 5 they moved to England so that Ethan could pursue a medical degree and Sarah could spend time with some of her English family. They proved a poor influence on her however as she started to get back to her old ways of drinking and staying out late.

Sophie could never truly say she is 'over' the loss of her mother, but as a coping mechanism she can tend to act a lot older than she really is. When irritated or scared some English slang like 'bugger' or 'bloody' and other British-isms tend to creep into her soft southern dialect.
