MEMBERS: Nhil Freese, Sal Morgath

 

BACKGROUND: Who Is Valerie? No one knows for sure. Some would call it 'Street justice" others would call it a vicious vigilante group just as violent as the criminals they claim to despise. But at the heart of it, Valerie is an organization for rape survivors who are tired of being afraid. Not seeking money or fame, but revenge on those that have preyed on the city's weak and vulnerable for far too long. Sharing their pain and trauma with each other, they soon realized they all shared the same firey rage burning deep down inside them. What started as an off-hand joke after a meeting, spawned an idea that would empower all of them. Taking their name from The famous feminist Valerie Solonas ( the woman who shot Andy Warhol and wrote the infamous S.C.U.M Manifesto in 1967) Valerie would do it's best to Vet all accusations to see if the preditors being named are actually hurting people, as to not lose credibility. Likely though, this is likely to fall apart when bloodlust and power among the members take control. All they have to do to get free is apologize to the injured woman on video. He'll be naked and beaten. Possibly with 'Valerie' or simply 'V' carved/ burned into his skin to mark him as a rapist. We are all Valerie

 

UNIQUE: What started with good intentions as a Sexual Assult Survivors group, quickly evolved into a vigilante justice street gang/ cult. Monthly meetings for Hathian's sexual assault survivors would be held in participating members homes, or even the Daily Grind.

 

FLAW: Arrogant. Will eventually start to get sloppy.

 

POTENTIAL ENEMY: HPD, HGH, Kogarashi, USMC,

 

EXPERIENCE:Positive attitude, Commitment, Passion for creative writing and weaving stories for ALL persons involved, not just myself. Hopefully will inspire others. looking forward to sim wide events and storylines to help others get involved.

 

IDEAS:Being that nearly everyone in Hathian has some kind of trauma in their backstory, the guise of a support group would encourage them to seek US out. My character (Jin MI) is a bartender at the TT and may be able to help strippers who feel victimized as well. Not everyone who comes to the meetings would be invited into the group, as to keep suspicion down to a minimum once the HPD starts to connect the dots.
