The Omen

BACKGROUND: -Adam "The Nord" Cross came to Hathian from Europe after being involved with a crime organization over there. He decided he wanted to get away from that environment and make a strong name for himself elsewhere, rather than work for others all his life. Upon arrival to Hathian, he met Taliese and Tempest, and together they invested in an apartment with Adam putting in the biggest monetary chunk. This is where they prefer to run their girls for hooking. He is the owner with Tali/Temp working under him. Running prostitutes out of the apartment is there biggest source of cash flow and they aren't above forcing women to work for them. In fact they have before. They have a penchant for violence and intimidation. They also have an interest and now a growing presence within the drug industry. They are still dabbling in various drugs to find their niche. The gang is looking for soldiers, muscle, doctors, business owners, accountants, crooked cops, lawyers, victims, drug dealers/runners, informants, and prostitutes for their growing "Business" to develop into a thriving criminal enterprise.

 

UNIQUE: -Little Secrets escort service/brothel. We are in the midst of that private business proposal as well but we are hoping that if it does get approved, we can use that as our business front. That would create RP opportunities for CD hookers, HPD, HGH, RPer's interested in being clients, Drug dealers/buyers, and even rival gang RP. If that doesn't pan out, we will attempt to think of a new business venture to act as their /legal/ front.

 

FLAW: -Most members involved within the Omen are in the USA illegally. That is a huge flaw that can create interesting rp, if proven. Another flaw is that respect is their highest held esteem...and it is also a big flaw. If the gang feels disrespected in any way, their go to response is violence and intimidation. This can easily burn bridges for them which...if done too much, would be horrible for business. This would be detrimental because The Omen is ran mafia-esque style with their driving force being Business/money.

 

POTENTIAL ENEMY: -The OSMC- we have plans to start a storyline which involved getting forged greencards, IDs, passports etc for our European members. -The Rejects- We still have to discuss this ooc'ly with the leaders of the Rejects but we will likely be heading towards a war with him at some point soon. The Omen is currently after Gin Valentine (Who I believe is in the rejects) and as well... one of the dealers for The Omen has left them to go and deal for the rejects ((not sure if that has been rp'd to completion yet but it likely will soon)). The person in question is on Tali's target list because she believes she told Gin to stay away because they were looking for him. These couple of instances MIGHT lead to a gang war, but at present, I am unsure. -We are open to RP with any gang! Be it alliance or rivalry.

 

EXPERIENCE:-Open communication. We make sure that both people speaking for the Omen as well as people RP'ing with the Omen know that at any moment they can message us ooc'ly even if we aren't there in the scene. If there's an issue that they can't resolve with the person, we will work our butts off to get it resolved. -We are open to constructive criticism. We know that we are going to make mistakes along the way and when faced with suggestions or advice or even someone who's pointing out that we just plain did something wrong... we will always try to correct it and keep the mistake from happening again. -We are fair. We pride ourselves on trying to rp as fair as possible. During fights... our members will take hits. Most of us go by a dice system, and although other people may not like that... it helps us to determine whether or not we take a hit. But yes, we strive to be as fair in RP as possible and do not tolerate god moding or metagaming at all.

 

IDEAS:-This depends on what person wants to do for the gang. Deal? Cook drugs? Be muscle? Be a prostitute? Let's say for example someone wants to be a prostitue/escort for The Omen. In that case, after we have our initial meetings where we explain expectations and rules and such.... and its determined thats still what they wish to do... we will set them up to get a medical check hopefully by the doctor working for our gang. At this moment it's James Matfield. We would put them in contact and get that underway and then once done, they meet James to pay him and ask how it went... they meet the prostitute to see how everything went and then if everything checks out, they are free to start working for the gang as a prostitute. They will meet with the hooker usually multiple times a week to check in and see how things are going, exchange ic currency and just keep up communication.
