BACKSTORY: The Bear And Hammer Syndicate is a collection of criminals who have gathered in Hathian to promote Russian awareness on the streets of Hathian. Their leader, Boris Veshnikov, was once a Russian terrorist and arms dealer until several prominent international agencies ran him into hiding. Now hiding in Hathian, with no money, or power, reduced to a common street criminal again as he once started in the streets of Moscow, he searches for individuals to help him put fear of Russia back into the streets of Hathian. He always lived by a code of conduct for criminals who rose above the normal common murderers and rapists. He instills this code into every new recruit. He plans on starting up a sex slave ring or human trafficking ring, connecting with the Jamaicans in town to sell drugs, and his overall goal is to challenge the HPD for control of the streets. Now that being said, I have been RPing in Hathian for over a year on another avatar, Xander Crannock, and have learned the HPD's place in Hathian. I do not seek to take over Hathian completely but would enjoy the power struggle between my gang and the HPD. The biggest problem I see with newly starting factions is the unrestricted flow of money that seems to be used. Boris has nothing..... and the only money he'll find are in the streets of Hathian. He does use a Logistics company as a front, The Red Hammer Logistics, but that does not provide the free flow of money. Everything would be run through me or one of the three other founders before being approved to be RPed out in our group. It is my highest priority to ensure the fun and free flow of RP to come between Hathian's citizens and my gang. So my gang will have three things going, the human trafficking/sex slave trade, the drug trafficking, and the kidnapping and torture of those citizens and other criminals who get themselves in trouble with the Russians. Right now we are primarily focusing on the human trafficking aspect and getting several RP stories going with that. Group members typically wear suits or semi formal clothing, although the use of street rabble is often seen. Red and black are the colors of Mother Russia and will be the groups identity. The Russians plan to extort money from local businesses and the occasional shipping dock raid. But none of this will ever lead to the gang becoming supremely rich and powerful.

UNIQUE: We provide women to other criminals of Hathian through the human trafficking system we have started. We seek to challenge the HPD on the streets for control of the city, even though that control will never actually be gained by them, we will work with all gangs of Hathian to provide interaction among criminals and create a crime family that all are welcome to join. We are unique because we are from various countries all over the world, and have collected in Hathain. We will be like a circus of immigrants who all seek power and control in Hathian. We also seek to corrupt the HPD and convince HPD officers to work with us to provide more criminal activity on the streets of Hathian.

EXP:I was a retail manager for 3 years in RL. I am kind hearted and compassionate toward others. I truly seek to enrich the roleplay stories of Hathian through my gangs activity. And I want to create a culture of violence and corruption in Hathian that is centered around making the HPD busy with arrests and investigations.

FLAWS:The Bear And Hammer Syndicate members are easily seduced by woman to do anything. They might have a plan to rob a business or kidnap a police officer, but can easily be stopped or have their minds changed by a sultry woman who uses her powers of seduction to influence them. Boris is determined to put fear into the hearts and minds of Hathian citizens, but he's easily controlled by a seductive kiss, or little nudge from someone he desires, if that woman can discover his weakness.

WORK WITH OTHERS:The Master Bates Inn would be a popular abduction site for it's members, ironically located across the street from the HPD, it would be the last place Boris would expect officers to look for a missing individual. The Swan House Brothel would be a front business for the human trafficking ring. And the possible creation of The Red Hammer Logistics would provide services to criminals who want to move their merchandise discreetly.

IDEAS:I believe the sex slave ring or human trafficking would provide unique roleplay for Hathian. I look forward to a major bust by the HPD someday on a run down hotel building full of girls who have been kidnapped and turned into prostitutes. I also seek to provide a haven for immigrants from other countries in Hathian to come feel more at home, and provide them opportunities to strike back in the face of American adversity.

OTHER DETAILS:I would just like to say it's been a pleasure RPing in Crack Den so far. I feel like the sex slave trade is really catching on in Hathian and people are enjoying it. I would love to start a new breed of criminal in Hathian that OOCly submits to the authority of the HPD, but at the same time, challenges them ICly. The only thing I do in SL for the past 6 months is RP in Crack Den. And I would like to see this group provide a community for new RPers who want to get started as criminals with a little bit of guidance. I know I have had a few disagreements with a couple people in Crack Den over ICly fights. I am not saying I am innocent in every situation, I was completely unaware Kevlar jackets were approved only by admin. I truly want to provide a new, fresh group of criminals to the streets of Hathian that will create some unique RP involving Russian crime immigrant workers in Hathian.
