onyx would orginally hail from germany where he studied medicine. he would decide to move to the new world. where he settled in new orleans for about ten years practicing medicine in his small private practice. he continued to read up on medicine and surgery procedures. he made a few friends there but he would in the long run grow restless and want to move again, it kind of helped that someone had set fire to his office when the  riots happened there. after settling everything with the insurance companys he would move somewhere more needing of a good dr that would care more about a patient then the ways to fleece them of their money and ability to live or strive. he would step out of the cab and take in his first sites of university and town. then he would get started with finding work and a place.
