[center:fy1mce5p]Darthanya Dewinters is a 25 year old medical student (she already has an MD and is working toward a speciality in surgery) and a born and bred southern lady and she hates it, all of it. Growing up in New Orleans had it’s perks and it’s serious down fall for a young impressionable girl but her family kept close tabs on her which she grew to resent them for. After her family was literally washed away during Hurricane Katrina she took her families wealth and hid and took her place amongst the displaced and batter New Orleans residences in the aftermath. She doesn’t play by any rules but yet feels weaken by her generous heart. She’s single, has no children, and has no plans of a white picketed fence in her future though she desperately seeks a man that doesn’t shy away from her bloody medical occupation. So she’s new to the area and trust no one so she does what she does best goes to school, helps the homeless or kids that have ODed in her free time, and copes with her lost sense of identity by drawing oppressively.
Her interests are always hidden behind her gentle hard exterior but if there’s a fundraiser with a wet T-shirt contest, she’s your girl. She’s very interested with the gang culture, not to be in one but she is a surgical junkie and she wants to be there to do field work when ever possible. The danger of bullets flying while she sews someone up possibly saving their life turns her on.[/center:fy1mce5p]
