Desziree was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and moved to Harlem when she was two years old. After witnessing the murder suicide of her parents at age 10, she was an orphan trying to survive on the streets of Harlem. Deszi found a home with the Ruckus, a local street gang known for taking what they wanted by any means necessary. Deszi quickly learned the art of the hustle, and by age nineteen she had spent two years in prison for taking a gun charge for a close friend,Xavier. At twenty she was back on the streets of Harlem and up to her old tricks: strong-arm robbery. She also came home to discover that her former partners, Xavier and King ruled the streets of Harlem. She and Xavier have always had an attraction to one another but, Xavier’s loyalty was to the streets. After a bounty was placed on her, Xavier decides to cash in on Deszi's head. When Deszi found out about Xavier’s plans, she was broken-hearted. She did the only thing she knew to do. Deszi never could understood how someone could steal a life so easily until that moment. Loyalty is everything, and disrespect is not tolerated. Xavier had to pay, was a shame he had to pay with his life. Deszi knew she was on borrowed time and King would have her killed. So she packed her shit and ran.
