Name: Debra Avagail Charron
Nationality: Dual South-African/Israeli citizenship (Renounced Israeli citizenship)
Age: 30
Background: Officer, Israeli Defense Forces (resigned)
Occupation: Novelist
Legal Status: South African Citizen with an expunged criminal record
Marital Status: Single, never married

Deb Charron was born in South Africa, her father was a executive in the munitions industry and her mother an Israeli "purchasing agent" for their government. She moved back to Israel at age 16 when her mother returned following her father's disappearance and presumed death.

Debra served in the Israeli Defense Forces, became an officer in the Caracal Battalion and was seconded to an IDF/Mossad Special Activities unit assigned to address threats abroad. Her main role was "attractive female agent" and her function was to gather information, distract and divert Subjects - but she also participated in the abduction of various people with whom Israel had "unfinished business". Deb was no super-agent, no Jane Bond; she was just a small cog in the machine that protected her country.

After ten years, she resigned (after an unfortunate discovery and a bitter argument with her Mother - now wealthy and well-connected woman) and has lived around the world ever since, publishing several moderately successful "Technothriller" spy-fiction novels since that time. She has never returned to Israel, not even for a visit. She has taken up (legally) the South African nationality of her father and is currently in the United States on a work-visa while researching her next novel.

Deb is a calm, no-nonsense person who suffers from the knowledge that her early idealistic service to her Country was seriously taken advantage of by her mother and her cronies. She's suffered a loss-of-faith and has become very cynical and has had brushes with alcoholism and other self-destructive behavior. She's capable of handing herself physically, enjoys the artistic release of writing and studying people, and subconsciously is looking for something bigger than herself to believe in again..... Deb is one more disillusioned ex-soldier who is glad to be out of that business.
