AnonymoussaidCyrus comes to Hathian alone and with only what he is carrying. Third generation Italian living in the East End of London he has grown up with crime and money making since he were knee high to a grasshopper. At 21, he travelled with a business partner to Moscow to put the feelers out for drug links there, and came across a Human Trafficking ring. This opened his eyes, as he could see the potential to make big money, which allayed any fears he had over the morality of the crime. On returning home he told his father about the scheme and they bought into it, agreeing to work with the Eastern European contemparies to secure women for London, delivered straight to the docks he always used. Maybe he got too cocky, too greedy but there was a leak somewhere in his chain of command. He suspected the rival firm, who saw his rise to success and wanted him gone. But one of his Uncle's informants fed back there would soon be a bust, and the Human trafficking side of the business had to be erased and fast. To avoid prison and exposing the family business to bad reputation he fled to America, cleaning up the loose ends and destroying any evidence of this branch of the business. He used his own transport links and a fake passport and chose a random decaying city, Hathian, for a place to lay low. A few of his friends had heard it was a good place for someone to disappear for a while, so he arrived, pissed off and frustrated at having to leave, but free to start a new life, for at least a year. This would give things time to die down back home. He sees this part of his life as a test, a set back, and his natural greed and drive means he is looking to once again build up his empire, even if it is without the backing of his close knit family. Naturally he is drawn to the docks and Fishtown, wondering what business he can get into to keep up that high quality of life he left back home in London. Not one for being tied down, he is always on the move and therefore doesnt want any kind of committment. He can settle in almost anywhere fast, but is gone just as soon as he arrives. He generally sees women as objects, which is why he could do the job he had, rarely having had a loving realtionship in his life. His own mother was weak, living in the shadow of his father, and he grew up seeing women had to be controlled. Getting into a relationship would only set him back, tie him down and he tries to avoid this at all costs, sometimes giving off more of a cold facade than he intends deep inside. The one thing he misses in Hathian is his family, and therefore isnt used to being totally alone. Being a natural charmer and able to use women for his own needs, he would make casual aquaintances, if only to stave off the lonely nights. His world revolves around making money, easily, his hunger is big.
