CU Sigma Theta Noir

BACKGROUND: As the official sorority on campus Sigma Theta Noir aim is to be the social life of Columtreal. From wild or extravagant parties, to flirting with men and woman, and painstakingly looking good while they do it to an outsider they may seem vapid or dumb, however they are far from it.

 

UNIQUE: Sigma Theta girls seek to use their social standing to manipulate others, charm their friends, and destroy their enemies all delivered with a sweet but deadly smile. With great friends come great resources and they will use their webs of connections to control outcomes that favour the sorority and its members. And if that fails? There's always witchcraft. The deeper into the sisterhood you go, the more you will be welcomed into secret witchcraft rituals and pagan sacrifices to the Goddesses that protect the women of the Sigma Theta Noir sorority and provide them with beauty, wealth, fame, and fortune - or at least that's what the founders believe. Sigma Theta particularly pay tribute to the following Goddesses and will host rituals and events in their names: Diana, Goddess of the Hunt Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty Hera, Goddess of Women and Family Hecate, Goddess of Magic And finally for the darkest events, Kali, goddess of Death and Murder. Not all sisters will partake in these events - in fact many won't believe in this at all - however those living in the house will be aware there is a dark edge to the sweet, ethereal beauty of the Sigma mansion, and sometimes, when they are trying to sleep, they can hear chanting in their dreams.

 

EXP: I have run or been lead in multiple sororities or groups including the CU Cheer Squad, Dolls gang, Silver Circle and many, many more. I believe having a strong Greek presence is essential for the social life of CU and so wish to give Sigma Theta Noir the attention it deserves.

 

 

WORK WITH OTHERS: Due to their nature of building a web of connections Sigma Theta Noir will seek alliances with many groups but in particular the CU Cheerleading Squad shares many members with Sigma and so this will be the strongest alliance. Their greatest enemies will be those who harm women and girls. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

 

IDEAS: We've already started with regular initiation events and I will be looking to recruit a new pledgemistress as the first thing I do if accepted, and their role will be to recruit for the group, to help guide the initiates story and if appropriate, into the darker roleplay that the sorority can offer.
