ohsynclair residentsaidDay...3 or 4? I'm not even sure anymore. I'm sorry I haven't written in..or on you in a while trusty sketchpad. A lot of new changes have been happening to me, most for the good, some maybe a bit questionable. To get to the point, I already found myself slightly mixed with the new construction of an adoption agency here in Hathian. It was such a random call, one I nearly ignored since I blocked and deleted all my old contacts from Florida. The caller was of a woman, who's name I won't say because reasons, who introduced herself as a social worker on a project to develop an adoption agency and a mentoring program. It looks like my new arrival already is attracting some attention. Not that I don't mind. She pretty much asked if I was interested in this mentoring program. And, I said yes. You know I'm always up for meeting new people sketchpad and this seems like the perfect opportunity to many find a reliable, good contact here. Maybe someone to just hang out with from time to time. It can be hard finding others as me, a weird looking teen surrounded by adult rejects. But, hey, this lady took an interest to my circumstances. Maybe others will too. Actually, another did. A guy who I met outside the record store a few blocks from the school. I've been to that record store before, but it was always locked. This guy, who came out of no where while I wasn't doing anything, pretty much broke in and asked if I wanted to join. So, I said yeah, since I didn't have anything else to do. He was an interesting guy. He had really good taste in old school metal and found him a good collection of albums to take. He was really staring at me though. That's not too surprising given my ink and mods, but I think he was staring because I reminded him of something in his sad past. Damn his past was sad. Full of rejection, trafficking, now kind of a lost guy with few people to connect with. He did give me advice on what not to do so I don't repeat his mistakes. I don't ever plan to, but you never know how your life will end up on the streets. But yeah, trusty sketchpad, I'll be sure to write into you more. I also have some pretty good ink ideas to I need to scribble down. |
