Kiriye's was born to a teenage mother, who overcame this disadvantage by being a wonderful goldigger. Always an annoyance to the wealthy stepfathers (there've been two) who were interested in a trophy wife, not a ready-made family, the Kiriye was resentful and generally snotty. Expelled from multiple private schools at a young age, she only began to come into herself as she grew towards maturity. Though discipline was always an issue, she was sought after as an athlete both in basketball and especially volleyball, at which she excelled.. Women's volleyball, however, doesn't get you a full ride much of anywhere. Even at over six feet tall and quite talented, her general bad attitude didn't endear her to anyone. This shouldn't have been a problem, except that her mother found the wrong time to be caught screwing the poolboy, and Kiri's stepfather certainly isn't feeling generous enough to pick up the tab, or keep the ungrateful little bitch around any longer. Consequently, Kiri's missed a year of college, and been forced to fend for herself. After a year of exploiting all of the economic opportunities a teenage body well toned by athletics can bring on a stage with a brass pole, she's determined to get herself into Columtreal.
