Bio:

Colin grew up in a middle class suburb of Washington D.C. His parents were teachers and he was recognized as a gifted intellect at an early age. He was constantly learning new instruments and snapping pictures on an old manual camera all through his school age years. Due to mild, but undiagnosed, Asperger syndrome he had trouble relating to peers and was somewhat of a misfit until he graduated and went to a music conservatory at 18.

Happy to be away from the social prejudices of his youth in DC, Colin double majored in recording arts and photography and joined a band his freshman year. They enjoyed moderate regional success, and went on a self-promoted tour during his sophomore year, which required him to drop out of school. While on the road he developed a taste for hallucinogenic drugs and never re-enrolled when the tour abruptly ended due to a tragic van accident which killed 2 of the 6 members of the group.

Distraught and emotionally lost, Colin ended up back home, but was summarily kicked out of his house by his conservative parents due to his drug use. He ended up homeless on the streets of DC with nothing but his camera, his guitar, and a longing for a better life. He hitched a few rides around the country, and the last one stopped in Hathian.

He's recently been given a second chance and added to the faculty at Columtreal U, and planns on teaching photography and maybe some general music classes.
