I mentioned this in the OOC chat in world yesterday but I'd noticed that I couldn't really find an RP clothing shop/thrift store/department store or anything like that... See plenty of convenience, food places, bars, and the like but that seems like a hole in the whole 'this is a living breathing city' sorta vibe. I saw there were a few stores with SL signs on the wall where ya ken buy clothes but that doesn't really feel all that immersive as say one where there's stuff on racks, dressing rooms, and the like. It's not like people don't steal the more expensive clothing items too to sell to fences like handbags, designer sunglasses, and such. Noticed this when it came up in RP that since my character came to town without a whole lot... mostly just the clothes she was wearing and what was on her person... that it didn't look like there was a place to go to in order to change that fact. Just thought I'd point it out! The people in the OOC chat suggested I make a store myself to fill that void in and I might do so but I figured I'd give the opportunity for staff/builders work on something like that if the want for it was there. xD If I'm talking out of my ass as there's a store like that on the sim somewhere that I simply missed after my extensive search around for one then just tell me I'm a doofus and direct me towards it. |
