Hello, I've recently arrived and am still getting settled. After several weeks of visiting here I decided to be more active and start taking part in the community. I'm a slow writer but am better at improvising as things happen.

Cinnamon is attempting to leave her past behind and start over in a new place. At age 32 her adult life had been going well enough until she was abducted and abused. She escaped months ago but had reasons for not going to the police. She's haunted by the memories and is not as recovered from the experience as she thinks.

She tries to appear strong and confident even while not feeling it - having a  need for complete control over her life after the abuse she suffered growing up. A need for control that extends to the men in her life. The experience of being a prisoner has only reinforced that behavior. Lately she has developed a problem with drinking too much as a form of self-medication. She doesn't think of it as that and believes she has it under control.

At the moment she has a place to live and is looking for work.
