Cheyenne was born deep in central Appalachia, raised in a large family full of mystery, violence, and poverty. As she aged, she grew increasingly wary of the hold that legends and folk tales seemed to have on her family and friends. Feeling disconnected from the outside world and pressured by her parents to carry on the old ways in their secluded mountain community, Cheyenne left in the night to find what else was out in the world waiting for her. Still, she is a product of the world in which she was raised, a little witchy, timid, and most at home in the wilderness. After spending years studying VHS tapes of old movies to try to train away her accent, Cheyenne has an unplaceable accent that veers deeply hillbilly when she's distressed. Quiet, careful listener and observer. After several weeks squatting in abandoned buildings and hitching rides from state to state, Chey has arrived in Laveau. You can find her working at Sam N Ella diner - come say hello! You may also see her in Hathian from time to time.
