charlie feldsaid(No, he isn't a new character, but figured I'd start getting active in the forum...starting with my character's background)
Name: Charlie Feld Background story: Charlie was born and raised as the typical southern boy in the humid, slow-paced Savannah. His father was a middle class alcoholic, not one of the ones that drove the family into ruins from abuse and financial despair, but the man always had a bottle of whiskey somewhere and was sure to be drinking from his flask at all those school football games. His mother was a liberal political activist turned housewife. Charlie spent his days growing up doing the typical things any boy would do; chasing girls, fighting, fishing, being a bit of a headache to the local police. A little after turning 16 his father would die, his body having been force fed too much alcohol over the years. The collapse in the stability of the family would leave Charlie and his mother at each other’s throats as they left suburbia for the trailer park. Medals: Silver Star (1), Bronze Star (3), Combat Action Ribbon (4), Navy/Marine Corps Military Awards (5 – 3 w/ Combat “V”), Good Conduct Medal (2), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (1), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (1), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1), Iraq Campaign Medal (1), Sea Service Deployment (2), Presidential Unit Citation (2), Navy Unit Citation (3). Certifications: Static Line Parachuting, Military Free Fall, High Altitude High Opening, High Altitude Low Opening, Combat Water Survival – Q, Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, Rifle Marksmanship Expert, Pistol Marksmanship Expert, Assault Weapons Expert, Marine Corps Martial Arts Program – Brown Belt. Traits: Calm, Intelligent, Collected, Courageous, Self-Confident, Cunning, Observant Vices: Alcohol, Smoking, Attractive Women (Especially Redheads) Personality: Somewhat odd. Charlie doesn’t believe in the idea of right and wrong, but merely believes in his own conviction. He full-heartedly believes that sometimes wrong things have to be done to make things right. At heart though he is a good-ol’ southern boy. He doesn’t believe men should hit women, believes in a man living by his word, and thinks that the best way for an enemy to become a friend is to beat the shit out of them then help them back up onto their feet. If they don’t want to take the offered hand, then kill them. |
