So, quite often people hit something of a writer's block in roleplay. Inspiration isn't there, seems like the RP has gone stale, hit a brick wall, speed bump, writer's block, what have you.

Idea of this thread would be to try and collaborate on a useful resource for all RPers, with storyline ideas that may be inspiring for people who want to try some RP with their character that they've never tried before. Just a list of suggestions of things to do with your character - ranging from the major and dramatic, to the fun and silly.

Some examples below - let's hear some more!

- a drunk night out leads to gambling debts that have to be paid off
- unplanned pregnancy
- family member/relative visits Hathian for a week, has to be shown around
- starting to be stalked by someone
- blackmail
- getting shot
- develop a drug habit
- a fall or injury leads to temporary amnesia
- being in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnessing something your character shouldn't have seen
- an affair
- losing virginity
- being dared to do something by another character
- mistaken identity - gangs or cops mistake your character for someone on their wanted list
- leaked nude photos on twitter scandal
- untrue rumours spread about your character
- first time trying weed/shrooms/other drugs
- getting engaged/married (perhaps a drunken Vegas wedding)
- truth or dare party
- food poisoning
- accidentally getting caught alone in another faction's turf/by cops
