Cecelia "Mel" Melinoe is from uptown London where she was raised by David and Emelia Melinoe, Two Floridians who left America soon after Mel's big brother Daniel was born. Daniel was known to be somewhat of a trouble maker while the middle child, Emily, was clean cut and very religious. All three went to a Catholic Private School, though Dan and Mel tended to keep themselves in trouble. Most, if not all of the trouble she'd gotten herself into led to her being in Juvi multiple times, giving her a deep hatred for any sort of authority figure. Mel, being Pansexual, had to hide it from her parents since they were extremely religious. One day her parents walked in on Mel while she was with another girl and kicked her out. She moved to America soon after and hitchhiked her way through the more Eastern states until she reached Hathian, Louisiana.
