Calli grew up in a rather rich family. An only child her mother loved and adored her. Her father on the other hand had always wanted a son, and so Calli and he never seemed too close. He loved her, just not enough it seemed. When Calli turned twelve her mother fell ill and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. As the illness overtook her mother's mind the more things between her and her mother seemed to change. Eventually Callista's mother would be institutionalized leaving her without a mother, at least in mind. Callista's father was too busy running a successful law firm, which left little time for them to work on their already distanced relationship with one another.

When Callista turned 18 she left for college and joined the University of Chicago. It was here she would start her journey into her degree of Psychology.

During her years in college she met with a man named Coyoti Kharg who also was working on a Psychology degree. Eventually they would fall in love and marry.

When Coyoti's father died at the indian reservation in Montana it had brought the couple there for a few years while Coy worked at the police department. When her mother in law died they eventually left Montana.

The road would eventually lead them to Hathian and another start to a new chapter.

Callista is a new citizen to Hathian, having just moved with her husband Coyoti Kharg.
