Background: Butch grew up in the 1950s in Long Beach with his single mum. She wasn’t around a lot so to kill time he would build rat bikes with his friends in the abandoned block next to his house. This is where his love for bikes began. At the age of 15 Instead of going to school he would hang out with his biker friends, they loved the thought of being an outlaw biker gang. They decided to call themselves the Pinhead MC. At first it was only small stuff like vandalism and petty crimes but then it escalated to armed robberies. Butch was caught and sent to military school to clean him up; it worked to an extent until he was deployed to Vietnam in 1970. Here he was a private stationed in Da Nang, he survived physically but his mind was left somewhere in the jungle. He came home a few years later to find that all of the Pinheads had either perished in Vietnam, on the streets or were locked up. He borrowed some money from his mum, bought a beaten up Harley and just rode where ever the highway took him. Along the way he met with a few guys calling themselves the Ghost riders, they were like the modern day pony express. Transporting anything and everything between towns on the West Coast. Then things got heated with rival runners and they moved their operations to Louisiana in 1990. They moved arms and drugs between New Orleans and Baton Rouge for anyone who had the cash. It worked for them till Katrina hit. Butch was running a load of Heroin for some small time slinger in New Orleans to a customer in Baton Rouge when Katrina struck. He was the only member of the tight knit gang to survive; he didn’t even bother to return to the Big Easy. He just road, till he found himself in Hathian. He doesn’t know what he will do in Hathian, hopefully just stay alive and drink some beers.
