GROUP NAME: Vudu Spice shop

BACKGROUND: I would love to see this shop become a more active rp location as it brings a completely unique element. My character, who is a Red Queen, has interest in learning the craft of voodoo, and is knowledgeable about growing herbs and plants. I would like to see people, maybe outcasts of the city, come to the store to learn a new craft, maybe to seek revenge using 'magik' or voodoo drugs and potions. Due to the fact that the store sells Voodoo Spice, it could become a hot spot for drug activity. New employees would be brought in, taught how to handle the herbs and plants in the back, given a basic knowledge of what all the shop sells, and will be encouraged to take part in special dealings. My character already spends quite a bit of time at the shop, and since she has the knowledge behind her, and the experience, she'd be able to run the shop well.

UNIQUE: This is a rather unique shop, and you don't see many that specialize in the occult and drug production. Voodoo, itself, is an interesting practice, and while the shop does sell drug paraphernalia and other things, I believe it would be neat to bring in the rich voodoo culture to it as well. It could secretly produce poisons, voodoo drugs, offer to cast curses and what not on the citizens of Hathian. (whether the curses work or not are entirely up to the players involved.)

EXPERIENCE:I have been in Crack Den for about 4 years now, so I have a vast experience with role play. I'm rather bubbly and friendly, not afraid to speak up and shoot out new ideas. I'm online all day, as I'm a stay at home mom, and can be around when needed. I'm a people person, and not afraid to approach new comers.

IDEAS:I plan to engage new staff by ICly showing them how to run the shop, manage the plants in the back, and if those are interested, perform a hex or curse. Out on the streets, I might offer the new Voodoo Spice product to those standing around, randomly slip a new drug to them, or just advertise the shop if someone asks where to find some good product. Plus, the shop does have a shelf with human body parts. It might be possible that, at some point, these products run low and staff might have to go attempt to harvest some for restock.

OTHER:For a grand re-opening, I'd probably post fliers around town to advertise that the shop is now open. Due to the fact that there are drugs involved in this, we wouldn't want the cops to start snooping. For the initial launch, perhaps advertise a good sale, like a bogo deal of sorts, offer free classes for the voodoo practice for one day, or offer test samples of the new spice product.
