Seaside School Roleplay
By: AmazeballsPrincess Resident

Type: Seaside School Roleplay

BACKGROUND: If I were to take over Seaside, I'd probably do away with the school atmosphere. Fact of the matter is, it's too small to be considered a school and no one is ever interested in the classes. So rather than being a school, I would instead change Seaside into more of an after school boys and girls club. Staff members could Host clubs, teaching extracurricular like music, art, drama, or even athletic teams. I would also like to have regular events that are focused on the youth characters BUT open to the community as well, such as holiday parties, fundraisers, seminars, and rallys. Seaside would of course be more than willing to involve any other businesses or groups for certain events, much like when we had Lil Looters day. As for my character, admittedly she is new but Before she was Eden Sparrow, she was known As Aurora Brighton. Aurora was my first character in CD and a member of Seaside for a while. As Eden, she would act kind of like a principal, setting up interviews with potential employees, talking one on one with the Youth if they are having any issues, meeting with parents, setting up events and regular staff meetings, etc.

UNIQUE: Seaside stands out on it's own just because it is focused more on the Youth Characters. However, I want change it from what it has been in the past because of the lack of response to classes. The major party events or even assemblies have always had more attendance so I would like to focus on that and just make Seaside a fun place for Youth characters and their friends and family to roleplay.

EXPERIENCE: I've been in CD for a year now and during most of my time here, I have been involved with Seaside in one way or another, whether through teaching, being on good terms with Buffy, the previous owner, both IC and OOCly. I have suggested ideas to Buffy before in the past and although I have never been a leader in CD, I feel I have enough experience playing both a child and an adult within Seaside to lead the business successfully. I have been told that I would be fit for the role and already are receiving thoughts and suggestions from friends.

IDEAS: I will invite them all to the regular events while also setting up IC meetings with them individually if they'd like. But, OOCly, I would reach out to them and welcome them to the sim and Seaside as a whole.

OTHER: I would like to do a party, maybe a Generation dance where people, young and old, can come dressed from different eras. The prize is still to be decided but a possibility would be the winner getting featured in H-Zine.
