BACKSTORY: Melrose would have came across the salon after revamping her life. She would put being a social worker on hold for a little. Concentrate on what she loves best. Music and hair. While going to school she changed her major from music to cosmetology. One day she'll want to study music again, but she needed something that could bring her income to keep her home life somewhat stable financially. So she got her license in cosmetology. Now to look for a job. She's already had past experience working in Short & Sweet as a manager. It was a salon and bakery. So she has the skills. Now it's time to put her skills to the ultimate test. Help the owner bring in business as a manager.

UNIQUE: A salon is almost needed in Hathian. It's a place to get the latest gossip. Sit and relax while you get your hair done. I foresee a lot of women coming to the salon, maybe some guys too for a quick cut. There really isn't a place in Hathian where you can get cut, a blow job and dye (just saying lol). I can see also Melrose putting her retro/rockabilly flair to the salon as well.

EXP:Should I go with the basics of being being organized and a people person? Yeah a lot of people say that, I'm sure. I think my skills as an RPer can be well used here. In RL I have done hair myself and worked for salons. I know that business almost like the back of my hand. And hopefully can use it for this experience. But as a leader? (Cause that was the question lol) I think just being able to always include someone in RP, no matter how minor or major their role is in a scene.

IDEAS:Some events I can think of is having a day where kids can get their hair cut for half off. As well has having an event for teenagers for prom. Once in awhile Melrose will give someone a make-over out of the goodness of her heart. Maybe to those who are homeless (newcomers) and need a new look to land that perfect job.

OTHER:Don't really have anything extra to add. A salon is definitely needed in Hathian though. Where else are you going to find out who got knocked up by someone who wasn't their husband, but their boyfriend's brother? (besides twitter!)
