I have three submissions over the past week that need review. I'm just going to multi post them below in this thread in no particular order. Remember, this really isn't a competition; we just need the best fit to run this spot. If we end up with one manager from the three below, keep in mind, we still need leaders for a few new spots!

GROUP NAME: Rader Records

TYPE: Record Store

BACKSTORY: When Cruz got out of jail when he turned 18 and split his time between working at the radio station the radar records and slinging drugs and of course not going to class. Cruz dropped out of college after the storm and moved to New Orleans. Cruz established himself in the cocaine trade there importing, cutting and selling to dealers. It wasn’t too long till the cops were on him and he had to leave town, there was no way he was going back to jail. Cruz is back in Hathian with a pile of cash to invest and has found his old place of employment run down and without a owner.

UNIQUE: Rader Records has been around as long as the crack den and has always been a place for people to hang out. I see it being used for more legal reasons for the time being seeing as there is no need for a front business for the rejects now. The place will be filled with posters and vinyl records and of course college kids and the trendy type that’s into that shit.

EXP:Ive been around the den since 2007 and have run major groups in the past such as the CDPD and a gang or two, i think its safe to say i know what im doing lol

IDEAS:I would like to see people hanging out in the store not like in the past where it was get in get your stuff and get out, i think there should be some bean bag chairs and shit like that where you can just listen to music. It will also help that its not always full of gang members

BACKSTORY: Well, I like to see the music store stay since it always been a part of CD and a common ground for everyone, we all can think of a song or songs.. that either fits are characters or that can relate to Crack Den.. the music store would give access to people to come and role play that out not only musician's but anyone that was a fan of old stuff.. but as well as new stuff. I have lots of idea's for the store that I think could add to current role play but also help people that come to crack den that might not be ready to jump into a fight scene.. but come on everyone knows the first time they went and bought there either first Cassette Tape or CD So this might be a way for them to get there feet wet.

UNIQUE: Rarder Records would maybe, now i could be wrong on this.. with the new build and all.. the only music store in Hathian. What town can go with out music, when we are set in the what people called the heart of blues music along with other types but Louisiana. I like to also add that I had a idea that maybe we could sell, maybe some guitar's and maybe keyboards and small musical instruments as well.. along with adding music lessons in maybe a back room. Also I been seeing a lot of people role playing they have there Ipods, which is normal we are in the year 2011 who carry's a boom box anymore 🙂 But I had a idea of maybe even adding like a computer system that would be in the store that people could come and bring there ipods to the store and upload each week, the stores new singles.. this would be a mix of new stuff and even local bands or up coming singers and yes you rappers out there 😛 that could bring by there single's there would be a monthly fee of course but this would be alot cheaper that say.. doing it online.. but would also promote the city to maybe give idea's to people that have a music talent and might want to just start a side story.

EXP:well, I Spend pretty 27/7 on second Life.. even when Im at work i can be reached on slchat.. then when i get home Im right back on.. and when Im in second life, Im in world role playing.. i can be find in all locations.. i try to move around to meet and start new lines.. and try to help others that might look like there new to the Sim, im in the proccess right now of helping someone and she seems to love the sim, also i have purchase Land in the Den So even if im at home role playing im right there so if someone wants to come up knocking selling girl scout cookies liam can jump right up on that because he cant turn down those little boxes of samoes...

IDEAS:I would try my hardest to keep Rader Records on the map.. either by promoting Musicians Playing live music in the store.. and giving away free band t-shirts or.. Holding discussions on Music maybe a topic each week that could be held in the back, but i know this would be something i gave 100% to .. and It fits Liam's Story to work and own a music store.. he has been in a band since he could pick up a guitar.. and has a love for all music, his major in CU is music which since in RL.. I play guitar as well.. and have a massive drive for music this would add realism to the role play.. I dont have a issue talking to anyone in real life comes from my background I guess in Sales.. I know what it was like when i first came to crack den its been over a year now.. So, I try to keep that in mind when I see new people, A nice little IM to tell them if they need help that im here never can hurt.... Now for IC I could see Liam.. Offering tips on what guitar's to buy what the latest music news was.. FYI.. Mark Starr Died former base player from Alice In chains Died.. Offering after they picked out what they want throwing in maybe a local rapper's CD in side the bag (yes i said rappers get those afro's and gold chains ).. Or who the Best upper bands or singers to look out for.. this would not only be done in the music store.. since even know you can see him playing his guitar randomly where ever he can find a crowd...

OTHER:This might be my first time being a owner of something in Crack Den.. but damn it, everyone has to be given a chance.. and that's what im asking for a chance to prove to you guys i can do this, and make this record store the best one you guys have ever seen!! I have even more idea's than I have listed here but as you can see I have been doing a lot of thinking on this.. and thease are just a few.. I would love to even get more idea's from you guys if i get the job because like they say two minds are better than one big fat one.. wait is that right?

BACKSTORY: **The story** That shady record store near the even shadier motel has been an landmark in CD ever since one can remember and most don't remember that far back due to the craziness of this lovely city. Oh, and all those drugs. The building has be rebuilt over and over after being damaged by gangs, citizens and even God, himself(Thank you, natural disasters). The last blow was a bit too much though and its owner, Piper Rewell, had more important things to spend her money on, but Espi wasn't too keen on letting what had virtually been her home go without a fight. When she had come back the place was in pieces, literally, and she could never get over that fact and finally was able to convince her best friend to hand over the keys and deeds to the place and make it something that their family wouldn't expect. A record store. A real record store. Espi had never been good with the drugs. She wasn't the best salesman and her social skills were lacking, but one thing she was EXCELLENT at was bossing people around - even it meant making them buy a CD. She sold more records when she was a teen than drugs in her whole gangbanging career so why not finally take the reigns of a business and actually make money for herself and family? Of course, there was her secret want for a bit normalcy in her life. Something stable. Something she could control and wouldn't flounder. Her goal was simple: Success. **Plans and Agenda** As can be seen, and from what some of you know, there are few things that drive Espi. My plan for the record store is to once again make it somewhere that people can go to again for fun times that were a little risky, but hardly deadly. Espi wouldn't risk success just to stab a former rival in the gut - she's grown beyond that and that would kind of defeat my purpose. I'm all about drawing people in and using the place for more than a way to watch and listen to what is going on in the city for her own benefit. For those that have innocent(ish) characters that wouldn't step near criminals, but want to dabble with the devil. It is a safer way to bring the two worlds together. No violence will be tolerated in her establishment even from herself (within reason), but Espi can remember a face - if one likes. Espi/i Loved the old feel of the place, but hello 2011. An update of music selection, technology and new layout is in order. Hopefully, one that matches her personality. I have ideas in mind if the proposal is approved. Who has been in jail with Espi? She LOVES singing. Clearly, some kind of small performance area built into the landscaping is necessary if not for her, then for the artists in the city and what better place than the formerly empty parking lot? I think this will draw people to the area and create a fun Hathian venue for all those events people are throwing and make that place people steered clear from somewhere more inviting without making it 'disney world' like some people are afraid of.

UNIQUE: So I'm totally grabbing a lot of what Piper had plus my own take: 'Now that the drug business is well established, there is no need to use Rader as a front. Enough corrupt officials have been bribed to look the other way, and operations continue on a separate level, which frees up Rader to become its own entity.' Money is the name of the game and Rader could be become quite the attraction again minus the constant police and blood spill. How many other places will have someone known for such ruthlessness singing 'I will survive' even if she is all by herself? Cause it will happen. Instead of trying to create events I want RP to create them. Why are all those people over in Rader? Oh, just Espi giving out rum again and playing spin the machete to see who will sing for her. Stuff like that. The random and comical stuff that we come up with out of nowhere. Planned events are great every now and then, but its RP that keeps people coming around and I'm pretty sure I can guarantee hardly a dull moment with Espi cracking the whip.

EXP:Everyone knows and sees me as Espi, but not many people realize I started in CD long before this character on Melia. Since then I have had my hands in everything almost, always helping out from the little daycares and clinics in Fishtown way back when to teaching, the ganglife, to helping run SIK sorority, which I just had my alt, Lo, revive and successfully hand over the reigns to the largest pledge class I can remember. I like to lead things to their success, bring the best out and make as many people happy with the outcome as i can and I think anyone who has RPed with one my characters knows that. The most important thing, I think, is that i don't like to direct RP or control what happens. Many who lead groups find themselves hooked on a goal or path and that is not what RP is about to me. It is not about our own individual plan, but what ends up happening when a group of people with plans collide and make a story. My tolerance for drama is zero and am very easy to contact if admins or anyone else has the need to do so. Criticism is welcomed with open arms, always.

IDEAS:As mentioned above I don't want to make Rader's popularity based around events. I would, however, like to have one monthly event, while providing a place for others to host their shindigs - big or small. That will help Rader once again become a place of the community where people are welcomed - not kicked out. As far as new ideas go... staffing will be the important part of having a welcoming place, Whether they are grouches or peppy blondes that Espi wants to secretly throttle. No one will be turned away with out IC cause and I plan to send out employees to pass out store promotions to both encourage individual RP when times are slow and seek out those obvious new faces. OOCly, I'm always willing to help, direct, teach - whatever is needed and I'll expect my 'staff' to be the same. I'd try to keep in both OOC and IC contact with other business so things can be arranged like fun pranks and spats or working together ICly.

OTHER:I benefit from the fact that Rader has always been there and always been passed down ICly, but I don't want that to be why it is kept in Hathian or why I'm accepted to run it. I always try to go that extra mile with things I work with and I adapt when I'm not getting the results I would like. I think the new concept of Rader with a literally killer owner/manager fits CD PERFECTLY. It's supposed to be a place where the unlikely can happen in the unlikely-est places, where the person selling you a CD may just have someone try to jack it from you later.
