So I've seen this (and heard talk about it) over my time at CD and I think maybe it's worth a post about.
Business Proposals.
I understand that most businesses probably languish waiting for someone, anyone to show interest, and some are so desireable that they drown in applicants and there are likely a great number of instances where the only business proposal that is posted is the only viable one. (Either for lack of others or a lackof quality.) Having said that I know that there are also instances where there are two, maybe three really good, really different or even really similar proposals.
In this case I think that the business proposal system should be reformed and instead of having one proposal put up for people to comment on before the inevitable "approved" is put on it, one thread with two or three proposals are placed up, the questions can be asked, criticisms given, and then people vote on them. (If there's no voting mechanic in the forum as I can't recall seeing one, there are many poll creators online that can be linked in a thread for such a thing.)
I think that this could inevitably lead to better, more interested business leads, and leads who the community are more interested in than the current system which sometimes seems like it's literally just "First come first serve."
Thanks for coming to my tad telk.
