BACKSTORY: IC Description: Mourning Wood Funeral Home is a new business venture by a local resident of Hathian named Khloe Glamour. Khloe Glamour brings her business savvy and wealth to this venture to help the wonderful citizens of Hathian celebrate the life lived of a special someone who has passed. In Hathian, many people die each and everyday by natural or unnatural means, and with this Khloe Glamour thought "What about the dead people? They need love too." With that, she set out to find the perfect home for her idea to bring affordable and respectful funeral services to Hathian's loving people. Her search lead her to a wonderful building which was an abandoned Mortuary from the 19th century. Rich in architecture and history Khloe Glamour bought the property and began to remodel it to fit her business' needs. Soon, the doors to Mourning Wood will open and cater a brand new respect and love for the dead. Mourning Wood Funeral Home "You Stab'um. We Slab'um" OOC: Hello 🙂 This little idea came about when I was looking for a way to bring RP to my little parcel of land that I rent. I wanted to give to the RP community something new. And with that I found this home that is classic New Orleans style and that gave me the idea of a Funeral Home. Death is all around Hathian. I wanted to give an option for those who want to pursue RP beyond death to have another option in Funeral arrangements, and to actually be able to RP "planning a funeral" with a person from the funeral home. Aside from the funeral RP, we have an embalming area that can also bring an array of RP to the Funeral Home. Some ideas I have thought of are selling organs from the funeral home to the black market, bringing live people in to remove an organ or just to torture that person on the embalming table. I have thought about the hospital too and how they can work together on "transporting" the body of the deceased to the funeral home for embalming. Being in communication and stuff like that. Also, I would like to sell burial plots to customers but that would involve some sort of connection to the cemetery. These are just ideas for now but definitely stuff I would be interested in. Also, people can be employed at the funeral home. specifics on actual titles for these positions are in the works but I already have a few people interested.

UNIQUE: Well, there aren't any other funeral homes that i know of. So I think that makes it stand apart...

EXP:I have RP'd in CD for well over a year. I have Ideas for RP constantly and I am always trying to involve people I don't know in my RP's. I'm organized with how I do and run things. I also love constructive criticism and new ideas.

IDEAS:Really what I outlined above. Getting people involved with RP across the sim, not just in Hathian.
