BACKGROUND: Labor Union would be used in plenty of ways, first of all it is also meant as legal facade for our old faction from DE and AP we plan to revive in CD, the Black Mamba. But that will be a separate proposal of course and start with soft trial, just playing with open cards here. So of course under Lyss´s lead Labor Union (LU) would mix concerning activities and offers from legal to shady. <> - of course we do standard repairs as after storms or purge nights like with the gas recently - we strip empty houses and buildings to get cheap materials ...and we even safe cats from trees if we find a slingshot - we use the union area as training ground for backyard brawls and similar events (I would need see for permission for an 1 prim mat for such events) - of course we would also safe kittens from trees and help people to open doors who forgot their keys (not really checking if those people should have access to those doors of course ) <> Now we come to the more shady aspects where the faction will mix in the business: -we will offer disappearance of corpses on construction sites and call it cleaning service -people interested in the criminal aspects have to prove, so any recruit is sent out to do damage somewhere ((with OOC permission of course)) > so that the helpful dudes and ladies of LU will be loving to repair. Meaning doing the damage we repair as business motor. - when visiting a bar we might try to ignite lighthearted brawls, not drawing weapons but using chairs and such (think of saloon fights in wild west movies) so there is later also work and offer the owner a discount (that could lead to tons of funny RP and those brawls can also help to guide new players in RP fights when it is not about life and death) -protection: since we will hire some broad guys it makes sense to offer protection services on the side here and then, that would give a mercenary smell and offers new RP options, but I do not want that as main aspect, just another alley to choose from. -possibly escorts: who does not know the fantasy of the desperate housewife of teh sweaty well built worker on her floor? that might make a nice addition to the menu but nothing mandatory

 

UNIQUE: well first of all it would be one of the few clearly faction affiliated businesses. It offers a variety from legal to criminal RP, so all people can find an RP home there. I also like that if forces us to go out and seek and promote RP proactive rather when being forced to wait for people behind a counter.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

IDEAS:Engaging new players? - well by interesting them, meeting them in a bar or on the street, LU will need people with skilled hands to fix or smash stuff, but we will also need eyecandy to bring the working class some beers or coffee in a skimpy outfit training brawls can be used to mentor new people in the CD fight rules and our ways of making RP combat fun for all people involved, not only the winner. But all in all with our experience in running businesses in the past we are used to go to people and not wait for them to come.

 

OTHER:GRAND OPENING I admit I find regular events quite easy, the mentioned brawls, wet shirt contest in the LU yard, strong man games for the hulking dudes, drinking events in cooperation with a bar, worker beauty pageant, endless options... but an opening event... hm, a free boobs and free beer event to hand out coupons to the people might be a first step to make the place more known!
