[b]GROUP NAME:[/b] Hemporium

BACKSTORY: I am applying for the Manager position at the Hemporium. This business has been apart of my character's storyline since I began roleplaying in Hathian and I find it is a business with much opportunity. Opportunity both in roleplay storyline potential as well as importance to the community in general for being the best head shop in town! My overall agenda is to promote more events in the Hemporium, keep the business up to date and active, and promote roleplay in the Hemporium as well as outside the Hemporium. I see this as a fun opportunity as well as a responsibility I would love to take on and build the business from the already wonderful place it is.

UNIQUE: This business stand apart from other establishments because it is already well established in the community as being nearly the only "official" business place to get all of your smoking needs. I would love to keep that tradition, promoting more sales opportunities and drawing the community into the shop to roleplay.

EXP:I was a community/group leader in a previous roleplay sim. As a former community/group leader for the previous roleplay sim I gained experience attaining members, and more importantly, creating an environment that promotes roleplay. Coming up with quirky and fun storylines to keep players interested is something I have a lot of experience in. I have a lot of enthusiasm and fun roleplaying and getting to know the community, and being outgoing is a great quality that I believe aids me in becoming a fit and well rounded leader in CD.

IDEAS:My time at the Hemporium has been wonderful, though I feel more group based promotions or events could further the roleplay opportunities. Such as, having a 4/20 event on that specific calendar date. Give out freebie samples, small pipes, have discounts for the larger items and make it really well known. Also, maybe a rebellious event where we promote a bong water dumping on the HPD building. Putting out new ideas and events for the group will better promote the CD community and newcomers by giving them storylines they can jump into or aid in building their character from.

OTHER:When I saw the opening for the Hemporium I knew I wanted to jump at the chance to be the Lead Manager for the head shop. I have a lot of roleplay experience as well as good rapport with speaking with the CD community on an ooc basis. I think my skills attained through my years of roleplaying could really be expressed through this position.
