GROUP NAME: (Formerly) Got Head? Head Shop

BACKSTORY: The head shop has been a (very underutilized) part of Hathian at least since I arrived here over a year ago. Charli's first job was as a head shop clerk, but unfortunately the group was already without active management and all but dead by then. I would like to use the Head Shop to bring a little more of the counter culture into Hathian. Charli is an urban version of a classic peace and love hippie pothead, and would love to attract those of a similar mindset to be part of the business and bring a bit of a new niche into town, one that focuses less on violence and crime...well except for a little illegal drug use, of course.

UNIQUE: The Head Shop (not sure what the plan is for the name with the rebuild) is the only establishment in town offering smoking accessories, from papers and rolling machines to water pipes, to one-hitters and gas masks, plus of course your classic hemp jewelry and hippie clothing, incense, and psychedelic art and decor. No city is complete without it's own little stoner haven, and this would be it. I would also love to see maybe a bit more of a hangout opportunity, like perhaps a hookah bar in the back, for trying out the shop's finest "tobaccos" with your friends.

EXP:I've been roleplaying in CD for a year now, and for most of that time Charli has been active (daily usually)as the assistant manager of the Daily Grind. I would like to take this opportunity to let her take on her own little piece of the city and build a staff and establishment that stands out from the more jaded gang fronts and titty bars (not that we don't all love them for rp!) and offers a different feel from the more violent and gritty.

IDEAS:As mentioned before, I would love the opportunity to turn the head shop into as much of a hangout spot as a retail shop for the more...laid back residents of Hathian, by by adding something like a hookah lounge/bar, and possibly making and selling "special" treats, like candies and butters. I could see a relationship between the head shop and the CU campus, as college kids, stoned hippies and social consciences/protests etc seem to go hand in hand, as well as possible promotional events with local food joints and other pothead friendly venues, like the arcade, and of course, anything to do with crappy (or not) indie musicians!

OTHER:As far as I understand, the Head Shop is already slotted to return to Hathian and I think Charli and her modern ganja loving ways are just the way to turn it into an active center for other counter culture characters looking for a slightly different scene around the city.
