The position of lead for the XXX shop got more interest than I expected. Thank you to all who sent in their applications! Had to make a choice so we will have two proposals up for community review. Both have quite different ideas to them so, please, feel free to post your comments and questions. I will leave the two threads open for a week before making a decision.

Hathian XXX Store

Type: Official business

BACKGROUND: First of all, my character would make regular events by moving along with the porn production company in Hathian (Venus Productions) and other willing people to promote pornography. There would be a promotional event for every movie made by the local porn production company. There'd be an introduction to new sex toys and the like, as well. My character would recruit people, but also act as a scouting agency for new aspirants in porn, so that at some point, people can actually purchase copies of movies, where Hathian's residents actually play in. (Of course for an IC fee, not an OOC L$ one). There'd be also promotions for protection during sex, for the youth. And there'd also be sent motivational speakers from the store or porn scene to speak at the CU, during sexual education. My character is a twentyfive years old girl from Los Angeles, and she has been doing pornography from eighteen years old, for over one and a half year. She knows how pornography work, what is required and how to promote movies. She knows most things about sex toys and the like. So in general, she knows what she is dealing with.

UNIQUE: I think my idea, written above, is unique. It would provide roleplay to the local company, Venus Productions. It's not an official CD company but it is the only porn company out there. And who knows, perhaps if everything goes well, the store might just start their own line of pornography movies and toys. It all depends how well things go and how active people from Venus are. But the fact that the company will have regular events to promote other people's work, and have pornstars be motivational speakers in class to educate youngsters about sex, would probably be a first. It would be different from many businesses in CD (except the Pie Hole), who seem centered around making money, production and so forth. This business will advertise their products through adding to people's wellfare through sexual education, and assisting Venus Productions, or other companies, to grow within Hathian.

EXPERIENCE: I have no past expierence as a leader. I've just finished my college degree IRL and I'm going to be doing a course about interior design next year, most likely. But regardless, I think I am more then capable of leading this business.

IDEAS: When I came to CD, one year ago on my main, I was already good at roleplay but not so known with the enviroment of CD and SL. But I've learned and one of my first jobs was in the XXX Store as Nikita Voronova. If there were more new people, like me, new, came to that XXX Store and clicked the Help Wanted sign. And they'd sign up, I'd regulary check up on them. Their roleplay, their way of handling things. And I'd help them improve. I can also recommend them to take the new player course that is regulary made by the admins in CD.

OTHER: I think I'll just have to see. It would probably be a small Grand Opening, around 3PM SL time, on a weekend. And it would be in the theme of stylish pornography. There'd be drinks and food, music. Probably work out a deal with Venus Productions to promote one of their newest movies, or have a quiz with as price, that they can play, or watch during the production of one of the porn movies.
